Sound Conservatory is a premier music academy dedicated to excellence in education, performance, and artistic development. Founded and directed by Andrzej Kozlowski, the institution traces its roots to its original location in Illinois, United States, where it was established in 2021. Through a steadfast commitment to quality and vision, Sound Conservatory rapidly grew to become one of the largest and most respected music academies in the Midwest region by 2025.
From its inception, the mission of Sound Conservatory has been clear: to provide a high level of music education within an environment that truly values the hard work, expertise, and dedication of its teachers. This philosophy has shaped a culture where educators are empowered, students are inspired, and artistic excellence thrives. The academy fosters a dynamic atmosphere of enthusiasm and passion, which has played a vital role in the success and growth of its students.
As the institution evolved, Sound Conservatory expanded beyond education into performance, establishing its renowned intimate venue known as the “Sound Conservatory at the Carnegie". This unique space has hosted an impressive array of acclaimed artists from across the globe, bridging the gap between students and world-class performers. Notable guests have included John Daversa, Michael Wolff, Laurence Hobgood, Tal Cohen, the ATLYS Quartet, Goitse, Kulawei, Haley Myles, Matthieu Bergheau, and many other distinguished regional, national, and international musicians.
Today, Sound Conservatory is beginning its new mission as a vibrant hub for Dublin's musical excellence—where education meets performance, and where passion is transformed into artistry.

Meet the Founder
Andrzej Kozłowski
Instructor of Piano,
Theory & Composition
Andrzej Kozlowski is a Polish-American pianist and composer with a deep passion for helping students unlock their unique musical voices. Born in Poland and trained at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, Andrzej brings a world-class educational background to his students.
After a successful early foundation steeped in the works of Fryderyk Chopin, Andrzej took a multi-year hiatus from the piano as an adult. When he returned to the instrument, he brought with him a profound new perspective on music—one focused on emotional storytelling, spontaneity, and joy. Today, based here in Ireland, he continues to perform, record, and compose narrative-driven piano music, including his recent 2025 releases Three Piano Poems and Where the Tides May Lead.
Teaching Experience & Philosophy:
Andrzej is not just a master pianist; he is a visionary educator. From 2022 to 2025, he was the Founder and Director of the Sound Conservatory in the United States, a rapidly growing music school housed in a historic 1903 former Carnegie library that served over 400 students weekly.
His teaching philosophy is built on the belief that music is for everyone. Whether you are a young beginner touching the keys for the first time, or an advanced adult student returning to the instrument after years away, Andrzej provides a supportive, highly personalized environment.
